Clubhouse
Smart casual wear, trainers and spikeless golf shoes are allowed in the clubhouse.
Course
Metal or soft spikes are allowed. Conventional golf wear is required: shorts should be tailored and worn with any colour/length of sock. Denim jeans and collarless shirts are not permitted.
While we operate an inclusive playing policy, the challenging nature of the Hotchkin Course means all players are expected to meet a minimum playing standard – typically equivalent to a handicap of 28 for men and 36 for women. The course is not suitable for beginners or inexperienced golfers.
Mobile telephones must be on silent either on the course or in the clubhouse.
Please ensure that all prizes awarded by your society or corporate day organisers conform to the rules regarding amateur status.
To ensure alll golfers can enjoy their round in a reasonable time, players should complete their rounds in 4 hours, 11 minutes on the Hotchkin Course and 4 hours, 1 minute on the Bracken Course.
Experience the same world-class facilities used by England Golf’s finest players at the National Golf Centre. With access to cutting-edge technology and expert performance analysis, you can elevate your game and train like the professionals.
While four-ball groups are the most common on our courses, we also welcome two- and three-ball combinations and would only pair up visiting parties on request.
We respectfully ask all visiting golfers to bring “carry bags” during winter months as poor weather may, on occasion, prevent the use of power caddies and pull trolleys.
Please note that from December to February, a mandatory mat-only policy applies on both courses for all shots played from fairways or areas cut to a similar length.
